Self build plots

Agreed to delegate sale of the self-build plots to a small group (Pete, Rebekah, Cynthia, Bill). The group will be financially prudent but also consider the self-builder’s experience/ambition, anticipated timetable, sustainability, their locality (chapeltown local, or close-by) and their plans for cooperation with neighbours.

Bike sheds

  1. We remove bike sheds from the Starfish contract
  2. We order the Asgard “Bike shed for 29ers” for each of the houses and fit these ourselves. 10x £594 = £5,940.
  3. We also order and fit “Asgard 4-bike sheds” @ £575 for each of the 2-beds on the bend. = £2,300
  4. We also order and fit two “Asgard Sentry 2-bike sheds” @ £638 and one “Asgard 4-bike shed” @ £575 for the 2-beds over the common house. = £1,851
  5. We will then have secure storage for 64 bikes plus all the parking spaces, thus discharging our bike-related planning commitments.
  6. In the short term, if necessary, we all share this outside storage space according to need – while we design and build custom bike sheds under the stairs for the 3-bed duplexes and the 1-bed flats.
